About this project:
For this project, we had full creative freedom to create our own brief and deliverables. I started by exploring the Feminist Movement and ended up landing on gender constructs. This video is the first in a series of educational videos exploring gender and the unfair values we hold each other to. There are many issues in society that stem from gender beliefs and this video is just the tip of the iceberg. Since this is such a broad topic, the final outcome had to be very specific, however, the overarching concept is aimed at all genders and communities, to address the impact of gender constructs. To kickstart the series I used the suit and the skirt to highlight the value we give to clothing and how this manifests in present-day problems such as the ways we treat one another.
